Understand Product Checks Before Ordering

A useful inspection discussion starts with the agreed product requirements. Follow the path from drawings and sampling through defined checks, issue handling, packing, and order-specific acceptance criteria.

Product checks are most useful when the order requirements, inspection scope, and packing handoff are clearly connected. This guide explains what is checked for a metal coffee table, what those checks establish, and which additional requirements need separate agreement.

Identify the product requirements

Begin with the configuration that the order will follow. Material is confirmed according to the order specification, and optional surface colors are available. Dimensions, materials, surface colors, tabletop and table-leg designs, branding, and packaging methods can be discussed through drawing-based customization. Drawings, dimensional specifications, or a reference sample provide the basis for a confirmation document and subsequent sampling.

Understand the inspection process

Key inspections cover the tabletop, table legs, and manually welded joints. Surface color, structural assembly, and appearance are checked against the agreed order documentation, and results are recorded. Abnormal welds, deformation, scratches, or color variations are isolated and labeled before repair or replacement is agreed. During mass production, key dimensions, colors, and process consistency are checked against the version approved by both parties.

Separate checked points from requested tests

The stated process addresses specified parts, visible conditions, assembly, color, dimensions, quantities, and accessories. It does not establish unlisted performance results, material tolerances, or test outcomes. If your order requires a particular tolerance, test method, acceptance threshold, or additional record, raise it before the order version is approved so its availability and application can be discussed.

Connect inspection and packing

Before shipment, quantities, dimensions, and accessories are verified against the approved sample or drawings. Packing then protects tabletop edges, corners, surfaces, and welded joints using the separation, corner guards, or cushioning agreed for the order. Table legs, connectors, installation accessories, and instruction materials are counted, while carton quantities and markings are checked.

Discuss order-specific checks

Share the product drawings or reference sample, required dimensions and material, preferred surface color, quantity, packaging needs, destination, and any requested acceptance criteria. The commercial baseline is an MOQ of 100 pieces and a production lead time of 20–30 days. Payment options are T/T or L/C, with a 30% deposit and the balance paid in full before shipment; terms are negotiable by order.
